Raiffeisen Bank International (RBI) needed a secure, scalable customer IAM solution to deliver standardized banking applications across its twelve network banks and support millions of users. After evaluating the market, RBI chose Ping Identity, using PingFederate and PingDirectory, with iC Consult helping implement the architecture.

Ping Identity enabled RBI to launch a resilient multi-cloud IAM platform with strong federation, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect support, plus monitoring and security controls. The solution went live in late 2021, successfully integrated the first banking apps, and established a group-wide identity standard that improved user experience and reduced integration costs to a fraction of custom development.
