Northern Air Cargo Saves Time and Expands App Adoption with PingOne Cloud SSO

Northern Air Cargo, Alaska’s largest all-cargo airline, needed to increase adoption of a new self-service HR portal (UltiPro) and a web-based safety reporting tool (WBAT) among a largely mobile and low-desktop-usage workforce. Requiring separate usernames and passwords created a barrier to use, drove IT password reset calls, and threatened rollout of cloud apps across the company.

NAC implemented PingOne, a cloud SAML-based SSO integrated with Active Directory that required no on‑premises hardware and provided one-click access to UltiPro and WBAT. The quick integration (UltiPro in two weeks) enabled SSO for ~400 users, raised UltiPro usage by 30%, cut password-reset workload in half, delivered secure mobile access, and gave NAC a scalable solution for future growth.
