A Ping Identity Case Study
The National Restaurant Association, the world's largest foodservice trade group supporting over 500,000 restaurant businesses, needed a way to centralize access as it expanded. Key applications were siloed and required separate logins for employees and customers, increasing help-desk calls and harming productivity; the legacy system also lacked proper provisioning, leaving former employees with lingering access.
The association implemented PingFederate with vendor support for requirements, proof-of-concept and go-live, enabling single sign-on for internal and customer-facing apps and meeting its use cases out of the box. As a result, password-retrieval requests largely disappeared, security improved, the help-desk burden decreased, and employee productivity increased.
