PetRescue builds a world class donor experience

PetRescue is a national animal welfare charity that connects over 1,000 rescue groups, shelters and vets with potential adopters. After relying on a third‑party donation service (Everyday Hero) that took donors offsite and limited control over style, workflow and tracking, PetRescue moved to Pin Payments to regain flexibility — integrating Pin Payments’ Hosted Fields along with its Charges, Subscriptions and Customers APIs.

Using Pin Payments, PetRescue embedded a branded payment form, handled one‑off and recurring donations and fed donor data into Salesforce via the Customers API. Pin Payments enabled a fully custom donor journey, improved campaign tracking and testing, and delivered a stable, reliable payments platform that lets PetRescue design a simpler, more measurable donor experience.
