Obee is a Melbourne‑founded reservation, table and waiting list management platform used by over 400 restaurants (including Attica, Saint Peter and Domaine Chandon). Its customers wanted a way to secure bookings by storing card details and taking payments for bookings or no‑show penalties, but Obee didn’t want to become a payments provider. Obee partnered with Pin Payments and used Pin Payments’ modern payments API, Customers API, Charges API and partner merchant onboarding to add integrated payment features while maintaining PCI compliance.

Pin Payments implemented a branded onboarding flow, handled KYC/AML and activated individual restaurant Pin Payments accounts, then integrated its API so Obee could white‑label checkout pages and securely store customer card data for later charges. The integration required minimal upfront development, let restaurants monetise bookings and reduce financial loss from no‑shows, and helped cement Obee as a market leader — a relationship Obee says it has been “extremely satisfied” with for over five years.
