WelcomeMat is Australia’s first dedicated online platform for affordable rental housing, created to help people find and apply for suitable properties in one place. Faced with long turnaround times, manual assessments and paperwork, WelcomeMat asked Stimulus Australasia to design a fully online, automated tenant‑matching system that could efficiently collect applicant data and pre‑qualify candidates without manual handling.

Stimulus built a custom WelcomeMat Assessment Platform on Pimcore (DXP/CMS, PIM/MDM, DAM) to gather, synchronize and automatically match information from applicants and Affordable Housing Providers against predefined criteria. The result is a secure, single platform that removes paperwork and manual processing, reduces errors and uncertainty, speeds up assessments and matches renters with landlords faster and more reliably—supporting over 10,000 customers.
