User friendly and accessible eCommerce platform for gift card company

De Nationale Bioscoopbon, the Netherlands’ best-known cinema gift card, faced an outdated, information-heavy website with fragmented order management, a limited checkout flow and weak brand presentation. Working with NOBEARS (Pimcore Gold Partner), they needed a customer-oriented, accessible eCommerce platform that consolidated systems and supported richer personalization.

Using a Pimcore multisite and Digital Commerce framework (with AWS for personalized video storage), the team built a responsive, unified platform connecting to the client’s order and fulfillment systems via Pimcore APIs. Customers can now choose physical or digital cards, select value and design, and add images, text or recorded videos; orders are automatically processed in the client’s system. The result is a simpler buying experience, higher conversion rates and a stronger, more attractive brand presence across three gift-card sites.
