United Nations Children's Fund establishes content commerce portal

Pimcore and solution partner Porta worked with UNICEF to build a new information portal that unifies content and commerce. The main challenge was to connect three separate e‑shops to a single website while meeting diverse goals for usability, branding and content delivery—requiring exhaustive analysis and custom adaptations of the Pimcore CMS.

Porta implemented a content‑commerce portal with integrated e‑shops, designing interfaces with clear layout, intuitive navigation, simple graphics, moderate typography and well‑structured content. Where needed the Pimcore platform was extended to meet UNICEF’s requirements, resulting in a unified information and commerce site that fulfills the client’s objectives.
