TUI Austria Holding GmbH, part of the world’s largest travel and tourism company, needed a scalable way to manage SEO-relevant site sections and the master data for hotels and travel agencies. While the main site used TYPO3, key catalogs and pages required a data-driven, headless approach to ensure consistent, searchable content across brands.

Pimcore was implemented as the DXP/CMS and PIM/MDM solution: hotel and travel-office master data are managed as Pimcore data objects and published automatically as JSON for headless consumption, powering pages like tui.at/unterkuenfte/hotels and additional sites (gulet.at, 1-2-fly.at/com). The outcome is centralized master data, automated content feeds, improved SEO capabilities and consistent multi-site delivery.
