Syntace is an owner-managed developer and manufacturer of high-end bike parts and Liteville bikes, known for long-standing innovation and industry-leading products. As the company internationalized its sales (with e‑commerce planned outside Germany, Austria and Switzerland), it needed a single system to manage all product information—attributes, images, PDFs, manuals and marketing texts—in any number of languages (including Chinese) to support a new digital sales strategy.
Syntace implemented Pimcore PIM/DAM with Twocream as implementation partner, who built a tailored data model with modular text modules and flexible inheritance of attributes to subsidiary objects. The new platform simplified attribute assignment, cut maintenance and error rates, and became Syntace’s central information base—allowing timely data updates and supporting global e‑commerce while the ERP (Navision) remains the leading system.
