SwissSkills, the organization that coordinates Swiss participation in national and international professional championships with over 60 partner associations, needed a modern web platform to make professions, competitions and participants discoverable. The main challenge was a large, historically grown database full of redundancies and inconsistent records, combined with requirements for a user‑centric profession/competition search, multilingual multisite publishing and a tight schedule.

iWvision built a modular Pimcore solution in three sprints: a centralized DAM and clean database, multilingual multisite pages, bulk imports via a custom "Import‑Definitions" bundle, and an Algolia-powered search with custom error tolerance, plus automated social feeds. The result is a flexible, easy‑to‑manage platform with advanced search and filtering, streamlined content workflows and publishing across languages — a clean data foundation that exceeded expectations and enabled continued collaboration.
