Space Racers - Customer Case Study

SpaceRacers.org is the companion website for the preschool animated series Space Racers, and the marketing team faced the challenge of creating a fully responsive, mobile-first and kid-friendly interactive experience based on research of 33 leading U.S. and international children’s TV sites and input from child development experts. They needed a flexible CMS to implement a unique navigational design (distinct shapes, colors, icons and labels), an HTML5 architecture with no Flash, and interfaces optimized specifically for tablets and smartphones.

Working with Lightning Jar, Space Racers implemented Pimcore’s CMS to build the custom mobile-first site and HTML5 games, delivering the first fully responsive, kid-friendly educational TV website in the U.S. The site’s usability and device compatibility boosted engagement with videos, games and coloring pages, increased brand awareness and viewership, and helped the series gain popularity with preschool audiences worldwide.
