Praktikawelten, a portal for voluntary work, study and work abroad, needed a simpler way to manage complex, frequently changing program pricing driven by seasons, flight connections, special offers and product-specific surcharges. The standard Pimcore backend forced price edits across multiple places and couldn’t represent the many connections and rules the pricing team required.

DGTLS built a custom Pimcore "Pricebackend" that centralizes program management and related data—accommodations, dates, coupons, seasons, options and insurances—with search/filter, edit, duplicate and delete functions and support for product-specific pricing rules (airport surcharges, sidetrips, seasonal rates). The tailored interface enables the pricing team to update all relevant price points quickly and clearly, streamlining maintenance and reducing errors.
