Pimcore relaunch with particularly fast-paced requirements

Hermann Rüttger GmbH needed a fast relaunch of its Currusperitum Porsche portal with a modern, puristic design and features including a detailed type compass, a DAT‑connected vehicle market, a blog for community interaction, and future e‑commerce/configurator capabilities. The project used PIMCORE (PIM/MDM, Digital Commerce) as the underlying technology and was delivered with support from solution partner Quellwerke to meet tight editorial and integration requirements.

Quellwerke implemented the solution on PIMCORE, creating CMS, MDM and DAM modules, importing Excel vehicle data into Pimcore objects, adding a VIN/FIN DAT lookup and linking the type compass, vehicle market and blog — with the architecture ready for shop and configurator expansion. The PIMCORE deployment replaced rigid Excel workflows and time‑consuming manual research, streamlined data and media management across modules, accelerated editorial and sales processes, and provided a scalable foundation for ongoing development and maintenance.
