Pimcore launch in B2B e-commerce with customized prices

Freudenberg Performance Materials Apparel, a global leader in technical textiles for fashion and other industries, needed to consolidate complex product information for thousands of interlining variants into a single, customer‑friendly source. The challenge was to implement a PIM/MDM to map diverse product attributes, manage assets, automate product data sheets and establish consistent workflows across international markets.

Solution partner Netformic deployed a Pimcore‑based product data platform and media asset management integrated with a Shopware 6 B2B storefront, supporting customer‑specific pricing, bilingual data, two warehouses and order splitting. Custom interfaces to SAP/TTM, three user roles and six Pimcore workflows plus a bespoke plugin for on‑the‑fly product data sheets enabled controlled, automated publishing. The result was a successful international B2B launch, streamlined product data management and real‑time generation of product data sheets, positioning Freudenberg among the first European textile B2B online stores.
