Online shop for beauty professionals – really efficient!

DOBI-Inter AG, a Swiss supplier of beauty products to hairdressers and salons for over 50 years, needed a modern B2B digital platform as its legacy solution no longer met customer and employee needs. A pre-project of interviews and job shadowing revealed detailed process and user requirements, while a concurrent rollout of Microsoft Dynamics NAV — the ERP master for product, customer and cart/inventory calculations — made tight PIM/ERP integration a core technical requirement.

Working with Cando, DOBI built an integrated customer experience platform on Pimcore combining PIM, CMS, DAM, e‑commerce, marketing automation and print. The site delivers faster product discovery with optimized variant displays, type‑ahead search and sorting, a one‑click B2B checkout (while keeping editable address/payment/delivery options), and flexible CMS pages using 25 DOBI‑specific content bricks — improving order efficiency and content management.
