Norstedts, Sweden’s oldest publishing house and home to dozens of acclaimed authors, relied on its website as the primary channel for discovery and communication. They needed a site that made authors and books highly discoverable during media-driven traffic spikes, was easy to update with constantly changing book and author information, supported high-quality text and images, and strengthened their social and mobile presence to increase engagement and reading dedication.
Divante recommended and built a Pimcore DXP/CMS solution, integrating the site with Norstedts’ ERP to sync images, text and metadata, delivering a mobile-first, Google AMP-optimized frontend and new targeted social-ad strategy. Since launch, page views rose 27% to ~200,000/month, bounce rate fell from 70% to 50%, page views per visit increased 15%, mobile traffic grew 34% (now 45% of traffic), social-driven traffic jumped 213%, and Norstedts became the largest publisher on Facebook.
