The brief required a multilingual, multisite-capable, multi‑shop architecture and integration of PIM/DAM/MDM-driven content (including a context‑aware help “Doc Lagertechnik”), while also coping with a core platform upgrade from Pimcore 4 (Core Shop) to a newer stack.
Solution partner Quellwerke upgraded the platform to Pimcore 6, migrated Core Shop to Pimcore’s built‑in eCommerce Framework and automated data migration via Pimcore’s API/CLI. The new tenant‑based setup supports multi‑shop operation, integrates PIM/MDM/DAM and the Doc Lagertechnik help, and leaves the system ready for planned extensions (blogs, templates, Web2Print), delivering faster time‑to‑market and a quicker return on investment.
