A Pimcore Case Study
Marcolin, a 60-year‑old Italian leader in eyewear known for combining craftsmanship with fashion insight, engaged us to redesign its corporate website. The challenge was to preserve an institutional tone for investors while also reaching end consumers, supporting multiple user personas, five languages, a complex product catalog and investor relations area, and granular access controls across the group.
We delivered a UX‑driven redesign and built the site on Pimcore CMS/DXP, enabling multilingual content management, a centralized, upgradeable product catalog, role-based access and scalable infrastructure. The platform also allowed rapid addition of new features—online serial‑number generation for product certifications and brand-specific digital press kits—and produced measurable gains: a 10% drop in bounce rate and a 25% increase in website traffic.
