Schlemmer Group is a global technology company producing specialized plastic and metal cable-protection solutions with 60 subsidiaries and nearly 30 production plants. Its outdated, non-mobile headquarters website didn’t display products and couldn’t accommodate the wide range of subsidiary needs: some offices wanted to pull content from HQ, others wanted independent sites. The company also needed to import and structure product data for 8,000+ SKUs, implement News & Events workflows between HQ and subsidiaries, and expand the careers area with filtering and an application form.

Pimcore partner DGTLS rebuilt the headquarters site on Pimcore, providing a shared backend with complex content inheritance so each subsidiary can reuse HQ content or publish its own, and implemented a robust product finder (Elastic Search, configurable filters, product detail tables), an e‑newsroom, download center, mega menu, form builder, and enhanced careers area. The result is a modern, interactive site that unites subsidiaries in one system, makes products discoverable and requestable, and serves as a scalable foundation for local and global content management.
