Kemper Improves Its Online Presence with Pimcore 5.0

KEMPER GmbH, a German family-owned pioneer in welding fume extraction since 1977, needed to modernize its online platform. Their existing Pimcore 2.3 instance had reached technical limits, constraining development, updates and multilingual content delivery; KEMPER wanted a cloud-ready, upgradable solution and a renewed Web2Print process to automatically generate web and print-ready PDFs for an international product catalog.

anyMOTION migrated KEMPER to Pimcore 5 using custom migration scripts, rebuilt the CMS modules, moved PIM data into eight languages, and implemented new Web2Print workflows with PDFreactor on Microsoft Azure. The result is a maintainable, scalable CMS that preserves the site structure while enabling a more progressive online presence, automated creation of print-ready PDFs for the full catalog, and ongoing improvements such as streamlined online product registrations.
