Kiesel Group, a major family-owned dealer in the construction and transhipment industry, needed to consolidate digital services across sales, service and partner channels. Facing rising demand for online offerings, the company required a single platform that combined CMS, PIM and e‑commerce, a customer portal for both end customers and trade partners, real‑time ERP-connected webshop for spare parts, and centralized product and machine data management for multi‑site publishing.
Together with Weblizards, Kiesel implemented Pimcore (DXP/CMS, PIM/MDM, Digital Commerce, DAM), relaunched a responsive corporate site and added the “My Kiesel” portal plus an ERP-integrated spare parts webshop. Features like an attachment finder and used‑machine visibility connect information across touchpoints. The integrated approach cut data‑maintenance time, increased product data richness and website traffic, enabled efficient reuse of data for additional sites (e.g., a kiosk app), and set the stage for further digital services.
