Improved Data Management Boosts Customer Satisfaction of a Renowned Consumer Goods Brand

Waterco, a leading Australian manufacturer and distributor of pools, spas and water-treatment equipment exporting to over 40 countries, was struggling with fragmented product data across multiple websites and CMSes. Product information was scattered and often outdated, new products appeared slowly across regions, and the lack of ERP/PIM integration made website management time-consuming and weakened marketing efforts.

Pimcore implemented a single PIM/MDM instance for all regional sites, using Foundation 5, the Template Engine with AreaBlocks for editor-driven page control, Solr search, a custom Epicor e-commerce connector and a VEND-to-Epicor plugin, plus a B2B portal and Web2Print warranty generation. The result: up-to-date product information across sites, higher customer satisfaction, faster launch of regional websites, reduced marketing overhead and a B2B portal that will lower sales-team workload once testing completes.
