Petroskills, a global provider of online and in-classroom training for the oil and gas industry, needed to quickly shift from primarily classroom-based delivery to online learning during the pandemic. With help from Pimcore and solution partner Lightning Jar, the company also had to manage a complex catalog of on-demand courses, books, software, virtual classes, and in-person training across 15 countries.
Pimcore helped Petroskills unify product data and launch a modern commerce website with a custom checkout workflow, international compliance support, corporate discounts, and invoice or credit card payment options. The new platform also integrated with Pardot for marketing automation, and the results were strong: Petroskills reported a 100% increase in daily active users month over month, a 50% increase in conversion rate, and a 200% increase in online training purchases, while reducing the time and effort needed to process orders.
