Case Study: Fleurop achieves a modern B2B shop and a single source of truth for product data with Pimcore

A Pimcore Case Study

Preview of the Fleurop Case Study

From cutting foam to floral wire, everything a florist's heart desires

Fleurop, a 100‑year‑old floral network serving partner florists across 150 countries, needed to modernize its B2B ordering platform. Its legacy, intranet‑tied Java store relied on rudimentary SAP synchronization for product data, was error‑prone and at capacity with thousands of SKUs, and no longer met multilingual, multi‑currency or user‑experience requirements.

Basilicom implemented a Pimcore‑based platform uniting PIM, DAM, CMS and eCommerce to centralize master and store data, integrate with ERP/merchandise systems, and support multilingual, country‑specific pricing and taxes. The new shop added modern front‑end UX plus features like split carts, dynamic discounts, returns handling, BMEcat exports and batch import/export; the outcome is a single source of truth with automated content publishing, 250 system users, 400 product creators and 100% marketing communication served through the shop.
