famila Nordwest, a regional supermarket group with 20 stores, ~2,200 employees and some 76,000 products, needed to bring its customer‑centric, regionally appealing in‑store identity to the web. The challenge was to build a mobile‑first, fully responsive site that preserved local charm while delivering modern e‑commerce and editorial experiences.
Junge Haie implemented a Pimcore‑based DXP combining CMS, PIM/MDM, DAM and commerce features, adding a postal‑code/geolocation market finder (saved per user), a locally stored shopping notepad, an editorial “Recipe World,” sweepstakes and event modules with automated mailings, all in a multisite setup for reuse. The relaunch produced a mobile‑optimized, content‑rich site that improved traffic and engagement, reduced bounce rates and strengthened customer loyalty while simplifying editorial workflows.
