A Pimcore Case Study
Pappas, a major automotive retailer, set out to bring car buying online and standardize sales across its dealer network in Austria, Germany and Hungary. The challenge was to digitize and optimize the entire retail process—presenting and selling more than 3,000 new and used vehicles—while creating a single, multi-tenant online shop that could manage product data centrally and distribute listings to external portals.
Using Pimcore (DXP/CMS, PIM/MDM, Digital Commerce, DAM) implemented by Elements, Pappas built a multi-country platform where all vehicles are managed centrally, automatically forwarded to external portals, and maintained with far less effort. A dealer portal provides standardized sales and price tags (with QR codes, photos, logos and locations), simplifying operations, ensuring consistent listings, enabling online purchases and advancing the company’s digital transformation.
