Ecommerce Platform for Bauhaus CZ & SK

Bauhaus, the home improvement retailer, was launching its online presence for CZ & SK and needed a robust backend to manage complex product information, assets, and integrations across multiple systems. Using Pimcore, the company also had to upgrade an older Zend-based Pimcore 4 setup while improving data quality, user workflows, and system reliability.

Pimcore implemented the migration to Pimcore 6, set up the server infrastructure, and configured backend roles, permissions, versioning, and custom views. It also added automated asset assignment, data validation, SAP and XML feeds, REST API and Data Hub integrations, and SSO/LDAP support, resulting in a safer and more efficient MDM platform that significantly reduced manual work and now supports Bauhaus’s e-commerce operations reliably.
