Salzburg needed an official digital travel guide that combined inspiration, practical visitor information and booking functionality in one place. The challenge was to consolidate multilingual content, thousands of points of interest and a large events calendar into a single responsive platform for tourists.

Using Pimcore DXP/CMS and PIM/MDM with solution partner Elements, the team built a responsive website in 11 languages that integrates Feratel Deskline, hosts an events database of 16,000+ events, provides a comprehensive restaurant guide and an interactive map with thousands of POIs, and publishes magazine content as Facebook Instant Articles—enabling easy discovery, bookings and a richer visitor experience.
