Pfalzwerke is a regional energy provider in southwest Germany (founded 1912) serving 1.6 million people. In 2017 the company set out to overhaul its digital marketing and communications, relaunching www.pfalzwerke.de as a unified service platform for B2B and B2C that would host relocation requests, payment management, rate calculators and more — while making content editing simple and integrating with SAP and other third‑party systems across multiple sites.

anyMOTION implemented a multisite Pimcore 5 solution to centralize channels and give editors an intuitive backend, using Pimcore’s “connect anything” approach to sync product/pricing with SAP, route customer inquiries to service systems, and persist data in the PIM during interface issues. Launched in April 2018, the platform delivered integrated rate calculators and contract/service forms, improving customer timeliness and satisfaction while reducing duplication, cutting effort and costs, and streamlining internal processes.
