Complete Product Data Management to Create Catalog and Price List

Album is an Italian maker of handcrafted creative lighting exported worldwide. When Album rebuilt its website it discovered it needed a structured, multilingual product database and multichannel-ready cataloging, while legacy digital assets were scattered, unbacked and at risk; additionally, product catalogs required revision to remove discontinued items and link layout directly to the data source.

Working with GMDE, Album implemented a Pimcore solution: a centralized data model (PIM/MDM/DAM), recovered and auto-associated assets with manual reconciliation where needed, role-based interfaces, price imports, InDesign plug-in and web2print for printables, and a translation workflow—e‑commerce is now being implemented. The result is a single, controllable source of truth that sped marketing production, enabled a full website revamp and rapid generation of the price list for Salone del Mobile.
