Charity provides media center for various stakeholders

Caritasverband der Erzdiözese München-Freising, a large charity in Upper Bavaria with 350 facilities and 10,000 employees, needed a centralized digital asset management system to store images, videos and other media and to give different stakeholder groups tailored views and access rights.

DGTLS extended the existing Pimcore website to build a DAM-based media center with advanced search, role-based access, ready-made templates and drag‑and‑drop asset integration for easy creation of flyers, postcards and other materials. The platform (mediacenter.caritas-nah-am-naechsten.de) centralized 1,664 assets, cut duplicate data by 80% and reduced administration effort by 80%, enabling institutions and press to produce uniform, professional materials quickly.
