Basilicom launches the CGM App Prescription Center in record time with Pimcore

CompuGroup Medical (CGM) is a global e‑health leader serving practices, pharmacies, labs and hospitals. Faced with the need to update and expand its offering to support prescription digital health applications (DiGA) for doctors, patients and partners, CGM needed a modern, easily integrable platform that would enable digital prescription, administration and processing while fitting into its existing legacy systems.

Basilicom built a Pimcore‑based white‑label content hub (CMS, PIM/MDM, DAM, API) with a structured central data pool, mobile‑first JavaScript interfaces, Elasticsearch search and connectors to CGM systems and the Weisse Liste. Launched in September 2020 after a three‑month implementation, the platform achieved 100% integration with legacy systems, established CGM as the first provider of DiGA for physician systems in Germany and delivered a scalable online catalog and white‑label SaaS offering.
