Gourming, a B2B marketplace for French food products operated by Groupe Le Duff, set out to connect suppliers with restaurants and hotel professionals across Europe (with plans to expand to the US and Asia). The company needed a single, secure system to collect and manage complex product and vendor data required for food regulations—ingredients, certificates, labels and site information—supporting multiple file types (Excel, PDF, Word, PNG, JPG) and enabling Gourming to review and approve all vendors and products.

Gourming implemented Pimcore as the master database: suppliers register and submit financial, marketing and product data and documents in Pimcore, while staff review and approve accounts and listings; all files are stored in organized folders and shared with other platforms as needed. The platform handled large, complex uploads and reduced data loss, enabling vendors to register from December 2015 and open product registration in June 2016, putting Gourming on track to launch the marketplace by the end of 2016.
