Österreichische Post AG engaged designer Marina Hörmanseder in 2018 to introduce a new corporate look for mail carriers and store employees, which created a sharp increase in ordering needs. The existing legacy shop tied to the ERP was inflexible, required manual work for each order, and could not support complex approval processes, personalized interfaces or the entitlement and organizational data management required for about 20,000 employees.

ACL delivered a Pimcore-based platform combining CMS, master data management and a shop front end: MDM was moved out of the ERP, approvals were automated as workflows, users are auto-created at first login, and entitlement logic linked employees to article groups and divisions. Orders are routed via ACL middleware to the fulfillment partner via REST, enabling an on‑time launch, responsive personalized UIs, reduced errors and process costs for 20,000 users, and fast post‑go‑live extensibility with several integrations within six months.
