An international lighting empire overcame their multi-language challenge with PIM

Kanlux, a 26-year-old international lighting company with more than 1,500 products and a presence in over 40 countries, faced growing product-information challenges as it expanded. Product data lived across multiple ERP systems and Excel files, causing duplication, missing information, manual and time-consuming datasheet updates, poor multilingual support (translations in spreadsheets), and difficult access to digital assets.

Working with RoboKAT, Kanlux implemented Pimcore PIM to consolidate ERPs and Excel assets into a single, centralized system. The platform ensured consistent, up-to-date product information, automated graphic conversions and PDF/catalog/manual generation, and enabled collaborative editing across 26 languages with more than 20 editors. The result was faster workflows for designers, elimination of duplicated data, and streamlined, automated publishing across channels.
