Achental Efficiently Manage 4 Township Websites in 1 System

Achental, a scenic region between Munich and Salzburg, brought together four townships (Marquartstein, Schleching, Staudach‑Egerndach and Unterwössen/Oberwössen) that each had outdated, inconsistent websites. The separate, non‑responsive sites suffered from a broken search, poor user experience, low traffic and bookings, and time‑consuming content maintenance, so the region needed a unified, modern digital presence.

DGTLS implemented Pimcore DXP/CMS to consolidate all four sites into one system with a standard layout and unique color themes per township, central tourism content, and APIs for hotels, weather, POIs and events. The new responsive sites improved search, simplified content management, reduced development and maintenance costs, boosted traffic and bookings, and enhanced the region’s online image and revenue.
