Thyssenkrupp Steel Europe partnered with digital agency asioso to launch a prestige, award‑winning steel bicycle project built on patented inbike® technology. The challenge was to present many configurable options (forks, components, finishes) in a user‑friendly way and deliver a 360° visual that updates with each configuration — requiring a custom, hand‑coded configurator and smooth e‑commerce experience.
asioso implemented the site with Pimcore (PIM/DXP/Digital Commerce/DAM), integrating a store, Payone payments, Zoho newsletters, multilingual (DE/EN) support, responsive design, vouchers and analytics. The project went live in three months; thyssenkrupp’s team can now maintain and expand the shop, personalize products and content, run newsletters and track conversions — yielding easier content management, decreased product returns and a reduced bounce rate.
