Build-A-Bear, the global toy retailer with UK and US ecommerce operations, needed a better way to manage product data across two markets and a large catalogue of more than 29,000 products. Before working with Pimberly, the merchandising team was manually duplicating and editing SKUs for each channel, which was time-consuming and made it difficult to maintain accuracy and consistency across product information and digital assets.
Pimberly implemented its PIM and DAM platform as a single source of truth for Build-A-Bear’s product data, using master SKUs, scoping, lifecycle tracking, and automation workflows to centralize and streamline management. The result was improved productivity, better data accuracy, and the removal of manual imports into Salesforce Commerce Cloud, with 46 workflows, 20,000+ assets, and 9 channels supported as Build-A-Bear prepares for future expansion into new channels like Amazon.
