Ensuring Uptime and Lowering TCO for Pizza Hut and Wendy’s Franchises

NPC International, one of the largest Pizza Hut and Wendy’s franchise operators in the U.S., struggled with limited visibility into maintenance warranties and corporate service contracts across more than 1,610 locations. This made it difficult to route repairs efficiently, increased maintenance costs, and drove up MTTR and MCTR. NPC needed a better way to centralize work order requests and integrate more effectively with SAP without adding heavy custom development.

Pillir implemented a custom, user-friendly application on EdgeReady Cloud that integrated tightly with SAP, giving NPC locations a single place to create work orders and automatically routing requests to approved vendors in real time. The solution also connected with NPC’s MDM and SSO systems for seamless deployment without VPN access. With Pillir, NPC reduced operational complexity, lowered the need for expensive local technician dispatches, and gained a scalable, cloud-hosted platform with no infrastructure overhead.
