Archean Group, a global conglomerate operating across industrial salt, marine chemicals, mining, minerals, and granite, needed to modernize a complex Procure-to-Pay process that relied heavily on SAP, manual paperwork, and custom ABAP-based workflows. With users in multiple regions, varying devices, limited connectivity, a tight budget, and no room for extra IT infrastructure, the company was looking for a faster, more standard way to digitize custom processes without adding technical overhead. Pillir’s EdgeReady Cloud was used to help address these challenges.

Pillir implemented five EdgeReady applications to automate the end-to-end procurement workflow: purchase requisitions, vendor quotations, purchase order approvals, goods receipt, and document management. The solution added mobile and email approvals, vendor self-service quoting, and offline goods receipt capabilities that updated SAP in real time. As a result, Archean improved visibility into inbound goods, sped up workflows, reduced manual effort, and improved traceability and accuracy in quotations and receiving processes—without writing code or buying additional infrastructure.
