Pilat hits the right note with Leeds College of Music

Leeds College of Music faced a challenge with its legacy desktop job evaluation software, Gauge, which was confined to a single PC, creating data backup issues and preventing team-wide involvement. With an upcoming Windows upgrade that would leave the system unsupported, they sought a solution. Partnering with vendor Pilat, the college opted to upgrade to the newer web-based version of Gauge rather than implement a complex new system.

Pilat implemented the web-based Gauge solution, seamlessly migrating all historic data within two weeks. The new system resolved the initial problems, making the evaluation process more flexible and less time-consuming, which allowed jobs to be evaluated and recruited for more quickly. Pilat's solution also provided a far more user-friendly interface with significantly improved searching and reporting functionality.
