Get the Booth set out to reimagine the photo booth as an interactive, social experience and needed a complete hardware-plus-software pipeline to do it: extract images from the booth camera via its built‑in computer, deliver them to an iPad app, and push them to a web server for instant sharing. Pieoneers Software was engaged to develop the Booth™ iPad Application and engineer the end‑to‑end solution, including the integration with a Ruby on Rails backend.

Pieoneers Software researched hardware and software options, designed both the consumer-facing and admin iPad apps, and integrated the camera/build-in computer with a Rails server to enable instant sharing to Facebook and Twitter. The Booth™ iPad Application produced an upgraded, interactive booth experience—adopted and valued by multiple corporate clients—and enabled immediate social sharing, increasing event engagement and visibility.
