A Picus Security Case Study
Istanbul Grand Airport (iGA) is a massive, modern aviation hub serving some 90 million passengers to date and operating more than 100,000 IP addresses across extensive fiber and copper networks. To keep this complex, high‑traffic environment resilient against ever‑evolving threats and to give SOC and SecOps teams instant, threat‑centric assessments while optimizing its security investments, iGA turned to Picus Security and deployed the Picus Continuous Security Validation solution (including its Threat Library, Mitigation Library and Emulation Module).
Picus Security integrated its validation platform with iGA’s SIEM and security stack to run continuous, emulated attacks and provide actionable, technology‑specific insights. The deployment improved SOC–SecOps communication through a common validation platform, enabled instant testing and visibility of technology shortcomings, helped prioritize mitigations for critical assets, and overhauled SLA measurement for 200 internal IT staff and 500 supplier personnel. iGA now scales weekly Picus scores and validates its posture against a ~1,000–1,500‑item cybersecurity framework, increasing accountability, awareness, and the speed of remediation.
