Bertelsmann Stiftung, one of Germany’s largest foundations, managed a large repository of digital assets and had outgrown its legacy DAM. With the majority of users working in SharePoint, the Stiftung needed a DAM that worked inside SharePoint, was easy to use to minimize months of change management, and made common tasks (like uploading to YouTube) straightforward—so they selected Picturepark.

Picturepark delivered an in-SharePoint solution via its SharePoint Connector (plus a Typo3 Connector), cloud-based prototyping for on‑premise deployment, automated XMP validation workflows, granular rights templates, batch-editing tools, asset ordering and support for legacy-data migration. As a result, most users access assets directly inside SharePoint with no training required, configuration and deployment were accelerated, uploads are validated automatically, agencies can submit compliant content, and publishing to Typo3 (and future YouTube workflows) is faster and more controlled — all enabled by Picturepark.
