Case Study: Belden achieves centralized global digital asset management and streamlined content delivery with Picturepark

A Picturepark Case Study

Preview of the Belden Case Study

Belden - Customer Case Study

Belden, a global supplier of data transmission products that has grown by acquiring brands like Grass Valley and Hirschmann, faced a fragmented digital asset landscape: photos and videos lived on local servers, hard drives and agency systems (with agencies charging up to $1,000 just to provide files). To support 8,000+ employees across more than 30 countries and consolidate dozens of brands, Belden selected Picturepark’s digital asset management solution and needed governance, taxonomy and a global rollout plan.

Belden piloted Picturepark using Hirschmann’s existing implementation, then rolled it out enterprise-wide with strict uploader rights, a search-first taxonomy, and integration into 32 websites, the global intranet (SSO) and gated download workflows. Picturepark now centralizes tens of thousands of assets, enables private shared bundles and time-limited access, eliminates duplicate uploads (upload once to Picturepark), reduces agency dependency and speeds content publishing—delivering measurable operational savings and far better global access through Picturepark.
