Polmlek Raciaz reduces product damage and waste with Piab's piFLOW®p vacuum conveyor

Polmlek Raciaz, a Polish producer of milk-based products, faced a challenge with granules of instant milk being damaged during transfer within their process line. This led to product waste and quality issues. To modernize their system, they turned to vendor Piab and its piFLOW®p vacuum conveyor.

Piab's solution, the piFLOW®p conveyor, used an ejector with high vacuum flow to gently adjust the transfer speed and preserve the granules. This not only solved the initial quality problem but also reduced required manpower, decreased machine downtime and maintenance, and ultimately increased production output for the customer.
