Phunware partnered with a high-end media agency and a major streaming network to promote a new original sitcom in a crowded "Peak TV" landscape where viewers struggle to discover shows. The core challenge was driving targeted awareness and viewership—especially among adults 24–34—using breakthrough creative that would stand out and spark word-of-mouth.
Phunware built a Leafly app and website sponsorship plus placements across its Entertainment + Cannabis publisher channel, deploying a first-to-market interactive 360° video, homepage takeover, sponsored article, mobile banners and social ads while using Phunware ID and contextual targeting with daily optimization. In two weeks the campaign delivered 7,893,372 impressions, 106,266 clicks (1.35% CTR) and a 0.47% interaction rate on the 360° video, while publishers earned a premium on ad revenue.
