How Digital Fashion Retailer N Brown’s Adoption of AI Technologies Led to Rocketing Email Open Uplifts for Jacamo and Other Brands in the Group Portfolio

N Brown Group, the UK digital fashion retailer behind brands such as Jacamo, Simply Be, JD Williams, and Ambrose Wilson, wanted to strengthen email engagement as part of its data-driven marketing strategy. Looking to build on existing email success and overcome skepticism around AI in marketing, the company partnered with Phrasee to improve subject lines and drive higher open and click rates.

Using Phrasee’s AI-powered email subject line platform, N Brown Group was able to generate multiple on-brand subject lines quickly and efficiently across its brand portfolio. The results were strong: Jacamo saw a 12% average email open uplift and a 21.3% average click uplift across all campaigns, including a single campaign with a 35.4% open uplift. Across six brands, Phrasee helped generate 500,000 opens and 150,000 clicks, while also winning 96.3% of split tests run for email campaigns.
