Burgas Municipality, a local public authority in Bulgaria, needed to streamline and bring transparency to its kindergarten admission process. It partnered with PHPJabbers to develop a custom online admission system and website to handle the high volume of applications and automate the complex candidate ranking and distribution.

PHPJabbers built a system that manages the entire application and admission procedure. The key features include online applications, automated candidate ranking based on a scoring system, and email notifications. The solution successfully handled extreme demand, serving over 6,000 users in under ten minutes at peak times and processing more than 15,000 applicants in its first four years. PHPJabbers later expanded the system to include primary school admissions and integrated an online payment module for fees.
